Delivery & Customer Experience Specialist
Job Summary:
The Delivery & Customer Experience Specialist is responsible for safely delivering and setting up furniture while providing an exceptional white-glove customer experience. This role serves as the final in-home touchpoint, directly influencing customer satisfaction, brand perception, and long-term loyalty. In addition to delivery duties, the position supports showroom operations, warehouse functions, and customer account activities to ensure a seamless, customer-centric experience across all interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver, assemble, and set up furniture in customers' homes with a high level of care and professionalism
• Safely load, secure, transport, and maneuver merchandise while protecting customer homes and property
• Verify delivery accuracy, obtain customer signatures, and confirm satisfaction with delivered products
• Document and report damaged or missing items and escalate customer concerns as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the brand professionally in all interactions
• Support showroom operations by merchandising, moving, and maintaining clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
• Assist with inventory movement between warehouse and showroom and help maintain accurate product placement
• Support warehouse activities including receiving, staging, and organizing merchandise
• Assist with customer account follow-ups, collection efforts, and authorized repossessions in compliance with company policies
• Operate delivery vehicles safely, perform routine inspections, and report maintenance needs
• Assess and document service issues, capturing detailed information and communicating findings to management
• Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Abilities:
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to deliver a high-quality, white-glove customer experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude for furniture assembly
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift and carry 10-100+ pounds regularly
• Physical ability to bend, lift, push, and pull frequently
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Ability to navigate routes using maps or GPS
• Availability for full-time work, including weekends as needed
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) ability may be a plus based on specific store staffing needs
