Job description

The Bell Tower Hotel is seeking a full time front desk clerk. The shifts are 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, every day. Availability on weekends and holidays is a must.

Job requirements and responsibilities include:

* Checking guests in and out

* Basic mathematical skills and use of calculator to make calculations without error

* Ability to stand and move around continuously

* Making reservations, data entry and attention to detail

* Ability to use phone, computer copy/fax and computer systems and programs

* Ability to remain calm in high volume, high stress situations and respond with patience, tact, diplomacy and kindness to defuse anger and resolve conflicts.

* Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.

* Exceptional customer service with friendly, sincere and positive attitude and a SMILE!

High School diploma is preferred.

Prior hotel front desk experience is preferred.

Applicants with additional language skills preferred.

Knowledge of the Ann Arbor and surrounding area is a plus.
