Project Manager - Manufacturing Operations Consultant (this is not an IT Project Manager)

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Case Management
- Client-facing project oversight and leadershipย
- Maintainย resourceย utilizationย against project budget and expected deliverables (scope)ย
- Compile and deliver clean, conciseย reportsย using standard Microsoftย Officeย toolsย
- Collaborate with clients to determineย appropriate KPIsย to measure improvementย activityย
- Developย objectiveย cost-benefit analysisย to document andย demonstrateย clearย ROIย
- Monitorย project performance,ย identifyย risks, and recommend countermeasures as necessaryย
- Monitor and positively influence Sr. Advisors to ensure alignmentย withย FTE'sย delivery standardsย
- Actively seekย additionalย opportunities to support clients outside of the existing scope of workย
- Maintain day-to-dayย client communications,ย and on-site activity,ย to ensure clientย satisfactionย
- Actively engage as a Sr. Advisor in case delivery when project scope or staffingย requiresย ย
Business Development
- Positively promoteย FTE's valueย propositionย and servicesย ย
- Activelyย identifyย opportunities for new or expansion of existing businessย
- Support FTE Case Managersย andย Principals in buildingย out project approach, staffing, andย translatingย customer pain points intoย new business opportunitiesย
- Determineย project loading (how much) and staffing modelsย (who) to support this approachย
Internal Firm Buildingย
- Continuously work to develop, document, and improve FTE business processes and our approach and output for clientย caseworkย
- Participate in annualย businessย planning and internal projectย executionย
- Participate in vettingย ofย candidatesย seekingย to join FTE's Core Team or Advisory Networkย
Requirements
What You Bring:
- 10 - 20ย yearsย ofย diverse work experience as a manager within one or more of the following disciplines:ย Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Factory Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain,ย or Quality Engineeringย
- Experience managingย projects,ย including project controls, budget, and resource planningย
- Strong passion for coaching and mentoringย othersย
- Strong leadership and management skillsย leadingย high-performance senior teamsย
- Passionย for coaching and mentoring othersย
Desired Experience but not Required:ย
- Experience developingย manufacturing strategy,ย utilizingย lean manufacturing,ย Six Sigma, and/orย continuous improvementย methodologiesย
- Proven experience inย coachingย problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)ย
- Proven ability to deliverย results through influential leadershipย vs.ย positional power
