The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is implementing Epic, and we'reย seeking an experiencedย Epic Business Intelligence Developerย to design and deliverย reporting, dashboards, and analytics that empower our leaders to make informed decisions.

In this role, you'll work closely with clinical, operational, financial, and executive leaders to transform complex healthcare data into meaningful insights. You'll build reporting solutions that improve quality outcomes, optimize operations, support regulatory reporting, and drive organizational performance.

Requirements:

Develop custom operational reports, executive dashboards, and data extractions using Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, and Radar tools
Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to collect reporting specifications and map them to sql data models
Monitor reporting database capacity, plan refresh cycles, and maintain reporting data security access profiles
Validate data accuracy across reporting models, ensuring consistent output metrics for executive decision-making
Train end-users on basic reporting tools, data navigation filters, and self-service dashboard capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field required. An equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience may be substituted, with one (1) year of additional relevant experience accepted in lieu of each year of required experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting healthcare analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, electronic health record (EHR) systems, or enterprise reporting solutions is required.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the Epic Sphinx Assessment as part of the interview and selection process to be eligible for employment in this position.
  • Experience developing, implementing, testing, supporting, or optimizing Epic Cogito reporting tools, including Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, or other enterprise business intelligence platforms strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing SQL queries, database objects, dashboards, scorecards, executive reporting, operational reporting, regulatory reporting, data visualizations, and analytical solutions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data models, relational databases, data warehousing concepts, healthcare quality measures, regulatory reporting requirements, and business intelligence best practices preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements, analyze complex data, translate reporting needs into technical solutions, validate data integrity, troubleshoot reporting issues, and optimize reporting performance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with executive leadership, clinical departments, finance, operational leaders, quality teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, or assigned Epic reporting application(s) preferred.
  • Certification may be required based on the assigned application or role responsibilities.
  • Professional certifications related to business intelligence, data analytics, database administration, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics platforms are preferred but not required.
  • Other clinical, technical, or professional certifications may be required based on assigned responsibilities.
  • Must maintain all required certifications, credentials, and continuing education applicable to the position throughout employment.
