Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full-Time Psychologist to provide psychological services across Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital, and Holy Cross Hospital. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct initial psychological evaluations for new admissions and provide ongoing therapeutic support as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed psychologist to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial psychological evaluations for new admissions across designated hospital locations.
  • Provide assessments to inform treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
  • Deliver individual therapy and brief interventions as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Document evaluations and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Offer referrals to appropriate services when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.).
  • Active state licensure as a psychologist.
  • Experience in healthcare or rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
