*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in criminal defense and will have a passion for criminal justice. This role requires excellent legal drafting skills, the ability to conduct thorough research, and familiarity with tribal law regulations. As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse cases while contributing to the success of our firm.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide legal representation and advice to clients charged with crimes.
* Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions with precision and clarity.
* Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys on case preparation and strategy development.
* Attend court hearings and client meetings as required.
* Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications within the legal administrative framework of the firm.
* Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
*Experience*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not mandatory; internships or clerkships will be considered.
* Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting across various practice areas.
