Encompass Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team. As a member of our facility located in Sayreville, New Jersey, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to improve the physical health and well-being of our clients. This full-time role requires a compassionate professional who is eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

  • Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of therapy protocols to ensure quality of care meets established standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests, assessing muscle, nerve, joint performance, and overall well-being.

  • Serve as a consultant for clients, families, and agency personnel, facilitating discussions about therapy programs and reinforcing patient education.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals recovering from surgery, accidents, neurological conditions, and those dealing with chronic pain. By evaluating their specific needs and tailoring therapy approaches, you will play a critical role in helping clients regain mobility, function, and quality of life. Your interventions will not only focus on physical rehabilitation but also enhance the psychological and emotional well-being of clients during their recovery process.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • A valid and unrestricted physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
  • A strong commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to decision-making, and adaptability to evolving patient needs.
Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in acute or home care settings. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and patient care protocols is highly advantageous. Experience in implementing interdisciplinary care approaches will also set you apart.
