Job description

Warehouse Processing Specialist – Electronics Recycling
Pay: $16.00 per hour + Monthly Bonus Opportunities

About Us:
Sensible Recycling, Jacksonville’s trusted electronics recycling company, is growing — and we’re looking for motivated, reliable individuals to join our warehouse processing team. If you’re someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in doing things the right way, this could be the perfect fit.

This position focuses on processing Certificates of Destruction (CODs) and Certificates of Recycling (CORs) — ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are properly scanned, tracked, and documented. You’ll help keep our operation efficient, accurate, and fully accountable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and Record Material: Use scanners and Excel to log materials, update inventory, and process CODs and CORs accurately.

  • Document Data Destruction: Track hard drives and other data-bearing devices to ensure secure, verified destruction.

  • Material Handling: Move, label, and organize incoming material in the warehouse.

  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain detailed records of processed material and assist with reporting.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Support recycling, testing, and logistics departments as needed to keep workflow smooth.

  • Clean and Organize: Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable and self-motivated with strong attention to detail

  • Basic computer and Excel skills (data entry and scanning experience a plus)

  • Comfortable with hands-on work and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Excellent attendance and willingness to learn

  • Prior experience in recycling, logistics, or warehouse environments preferred but not required

Why Work with Us

  • Be part of a mission-driven company helping keep electronics out of landfills

  • Get hands-on experience in sustainable operations and e-waste management

  • Enjoy a physically active job that also builds valuable computer and data tracking skills

  • Opportunities for growth and advancement

  • Supportive, team-oriented work environment

Job Type: Full-Time (In Person)
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $16/hour + monthly bonus based on production and accuracy
Benefits: 401(k) with match, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, employee discounts
