Job description

Position: Electronics Engineer (Houston, Texas)
Position Description & Responsibilities:
  • Perform IQ/OQ on ICP-MS, ICP-OES, EA, and/or TOC analytical instruments.
  • Diagnose instruments via remote diagnostic software, provide technical support by phone and email, and perform customer site repairs as needed.
  • Re-qualify instrument(s) after maintenance and/or repairs, including running complex compounds for verification; gain training and proficiency to be certified to complete IQ/OQ on products as needed.
  • Perform instrument training.
  • Verify lab facility pre-installation documentation, run complex organic/inorganic and/or biochemical compounds for performance verification.
  • Preventative maintenance, service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of instruments.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to customers and business partners, timely feedback and reports to management.
  • Manage service schedules.
  • Order anticipated repair parts, maintain appropriate tool kit.
  • Help to train new Service Engineers and cross-train other Service Engineers.
  • Update CRM and other Information Management systems, finish and submit required service paperwork.
  • Follow ISO related quality policies, procedures, and documentation requirements as applicable.

Qualifications: Minimum of twenty-four months' experience working with instruments in field service or working with instruments in a lab; Mass Spectrometry, EA and TOC. Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering or related field.
Travel: May travel up to 75% US and internationally.

The anticipated pay range for this role is $98,654-118,654 per year. Exact compensation may vary depending on the education, skills, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
