Corrective Technician

Location: Charlotte, NC 28216

Pay: $18- $24 an hour- Full-time


Requirements

  • Experience in pond/lake maintenance, landscaping, erosion control, or stormwater maintenance
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various weather conditions
  • Comfortable working around water, slopes, and environmental risks (bees, poison ivy, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate team members
  • Commitment to safety practices with chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to follow company policies and values
  • Team-oriented and aligned with Dragonfly's values: Quality Focus, Takes Ownership, and Growth Oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain equipment safely ( mini-excavators, skid steers, slope mowers, front-end loader, backhoes, etc.)
  • Perform manual labor tasks and operate hand tools
  • Maintain and repair ponds, lakes, and stormwater control measures (grading, erosion repair, planting, mowing, invasive species removal)
  • Lead by example, ensuring a safe and productive work environment
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety guidelines
  • Complete repairs and maintenance on ponds, lakes, and other stormwater control measures, including: Turf establishment, mowing, planting, invasive plant treatment or removal, hand or machine excavation, grading, erosion repairs, tree removal, and site stabilization
