Licensed Speech Language Pathologist

Location of Service: Onsite Center Based

Part- Time: 20 hours weekly

Hours: Monday through Friday ( 3-7pm)

Pay Rate: $65-90 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a part-time role in a welcoming and supportive environment- Dragonfly's St. James and Melville Centers, with availability to see students on weekdays during afternoon and early evening hours (3-7pm). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated support team and provide essential speech and language services to children. The hourly rate range for this role would be $65-90/hr based on experience in the field.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents regularly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • A willingness and passion for continued growth and learning.

Requirements

  • Valid New York Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team
  • Valid Licensure and reliable transportation
