Title: Director of Finance
Location: Relocation Required – Buffalo, NY
Salary: $175,000–$200,000 depending on experience, plus a 15–20% bonus and LTIP

What You Will Do as a Director of Finance:

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for the manufacturing site.
  • The Director of Finance will partner with plant leadership to drive financial performance and operational decision-making.
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning and provide financial support for major manufacturing investments.
  • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, including cost accounting and financial analysis functions.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, controls, and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support production, operations, and business growth initiatives.
  • Oversee the month-end close process and review the activities of the Assistant Controller.

What We Are Seeking in the Director of Finance:

  • Candidates in Cleveland, Ohio are encouraged to apply.
  • 10+ years of finance experience within a manufacturing environment, including strong cost accounting knowledge, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing finance or accounting teams.
  • Previous experience overseeing plant finance, controllership, or director-level manufacturing finance functions.
  • Strong ERP experience with SAP, Oracle, or a similar enterprise system.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Previous accounting experience within a regulated industry such as consumer packaged goods (CPG), medical devices, aerospace, chemicals, or cosmetics.
