Company Overview
Leading the industry in electrometrical components; dedicated to innovation and high-quality design. With fully automated production facilities, the organization has been serving the electronic control industry for over three decades, delivering reliable and high-performance products worldwide.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Component Application Engineer specializing in Low & Medium Voltage Power Distribution. In this role, you will drive system design, project management, and technical support for power distribution components. Your expertise will help optimize electrical systems, ensure seamless project execution, and contribute to innovative solutions in power distribution applications.

You will serve as a technical authority—guiding customers through product selection, application design, system integration, and compliance with UL, IEC, and IEEE standards.

If you’ve worked closely with switchgear, circuit protection, vacuum interrupters, and electromechanical protection systems, this role was designed for you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical application support for LV and MV circuit breakers, vacuum interrupters, contactors and switchgear components
  • Advise customers on proper product selection, protection coordination, and system design
  • Support OEMs, panel builders, utilities, and switchgear engineering teams with integration, application review, and troubleshooting
  • Interpret and apply applicable standards, including: UL 489, UL 508, IEC 60947, IEEE C37
  • Lead or support application testing, validation, and customer qualification activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Sales on new and existing product applications
  • Prepare technical documentation, including application notes, data sheets, and customer-facing reports

Experience

Applicants must have direct experience with most of the following technologies:

  • Vacuum interrupters
  • MCCB / MCB circuit breakers
  • RCD / GFCI breakers
  • DC circuit protection devices
  • ATS systems or switch disconnectors
  • IEC contactors / DP contactors
  • Thermal overload relays
  • LV or MV switchgear applications

Candidates without hands-on experience in these areas are unlikely to be a fit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of application engineering in LV/MV power distribution or switchgear.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, protection curves, and coordination studies.
  • Understanding of arc interruption, trip unit behavior, and electromechanical protection mechanisms.
  • Strong communication skills for direct support of OEM and engineering customers.

Preferred Experience

  • Reclosers or medium-voltage distribution equipment
  • Utility or switchgear field experience
  • Familiarity with EV/DC fast-charging protection requirements
