As a Medical Assistant in our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced dermatologists, expand your knowledge of skin care treatments, and provide direct patient care.

Your day as a Dermatology Medical Assistant

As a Full Time Dermatology Medical Assistant at Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care. From rooming patients and updating their information in the EMR system to assisting with biopsies and surgical procedures, you will be involved in various aspects of patient treatment. Your responsibilities will also include transcribing for providers during exams, administering local anesthesia, and educating patients on their treatment plans.

Additionally, you will be tasked with managing prescriptions, pathology, and labs, as well as assisting with cosmetic procedures. By stocking rooms with supplies, sanitizing work areas, and diligently following through with tasks, you will contribute to our high-performance and patient-focused culture.
