Cura of Monticello is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team! The Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.
Schedule: Full-Time Days
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Shift: Day shift
Requirements
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, common areas, and other facility spaces according to established cleaning schedules.
Follow all facility cleaning, disinfecting, infection prevention, and environmental services procedures.
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in accordance with Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), CMS, OSHA, and facility requirements.
Safely handle, label, store, and use cleaning chemicals according to facility policy and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
Keep housekeeping carts locked or secured whenever unattended, including when working in resident areas.
Ensure chemicals and cleaning supplies are never left unsecured or accessible to residents.
Stock housekeeping closets, carts, bathrooms, and designated supply areas as needed.
Assist with maintaining appropriate par levels of housekeeping supplies and notify leadership when supplies need to be reordered.
Empty waste and recycling according to facility procedures.
Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, spills, safety hazards, or environmental concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
Follow proper procedures for cleaning resident rooms following isolation precautions or other special infection prevention requirements.
Respect resident privacy, dignity, belongings, and personal space at all times.
Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
