Job description

Human services professionals are encouraged to consider an outstanding career opportunity with Liberty Healthcare Corporation.
In partnership with Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration, Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program which endeavors to develop continuous quality improvement processes that enhance person-centered service delivery and support to people who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, so they may live their best lives.
To support this initiative, Liberty is now hiring for multiple full-time Quality Reviewer positions.
As a Quality Reviewer, your daily work will involve:
  • Traveling throughout the region
  • Leading onsite reviews of residential and day service provider organizations
  • Interviewing people in service as well as their families and guardians
  • Interviewing provider organization staff
  • Conducting provider reviews to determine alignment with person-centered principles and CMS regulations
  • Data collection and report writing
  • Participating in various quality improvement initiatives
  • Partnering with people in service to conduct National Core Indicator Surveys
  • Collaborating with other Liberty Quality Reviewers

This is a field-based position which will require regular travel throughout Southern and Central Maryland with an emphasis on Baltimore City as well as Howard, Frederick, Baltimore, Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. Travel is estimated at 70-80%.
You can expect:
  • $55,000 annual salary

Skills & Requirements
You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:
  • At least four years of experience supporting people living with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of person-centered practices
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills
  • Consultative approach and ability to achieve rapport with a wide array of individuals

You must have a driver's license and insured vehicle which you can use for work-related travel.
