This Position reports to:

Global Head of IP and Digital, Robotics


As Lead Counsel Digital, AI, & Cyber Law, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's digital business and transformation initiatives reporting directly to the Head of IP. You will partner with business leaders, technology teams, and group functions to provide practical legal and compliance guidance, ensuring that innovation and growth in digital solutions are underpinned by sound legal frameworks and integrity standards.
The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid
The location for the role is flexible in Europe and US.


Your responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on digital business initiatives, including AI, cloud services, datacentre, software, licensing, and technology-driven solutions.

  • Responsible for guiding the company's digital strategy, leveraging AI and emerging technologies.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of digital and technology-related agreements with global customers, partners, and suppliers.

  • Support digital transformation projects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Advise on intellectual property, cybersecurity, and related regulatory issues impacting digital business.

  • Collaborate with global and local Legal & Integrity colleagues to ensure consistency of approach across jurisdictions.

  • Monitor legal and regulatory trends in digital and technology markets, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.

  • Protect the company's reputation by ensuring operations meet ethical and compliance standards.

  • Provide training and guidance to business stakeholders on legal issues relevant to digital offerings.


Your qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer with 10-15 years of experience in commercial/technology law, preferably gained in a multinational corporate or top-tier law firm environment.

  • Strong expertise in digital, AI, IT, cyber law, software licensing, cloud, data centre, and data protection law.

  • Previous experience in Robotics sector is preferred but not required.

  • Proven track record in negotiating complex technology agreements across international markets.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders.

  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and commercially minded, with the ability to balance innovation and risk.

  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a strong asset.
