Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Human Resources Consultant to provide strategic and operational HR support across multiple functional areas. The ideal candidate will partner with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.
This role requires a proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to provide strategic HR guidance and workforce planning.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and corrective action.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment strategy, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Assist with compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
  • Facilitate employee training and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support organizational change management and employee engagement efforts.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous process improvement.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience advising leaders on employee relations and performance management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting multiple business units or consulting with various clients.
  • Knowledge of compensation analysis, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Experience with HR analytics and reporting
