The successful candidate will serve as a Collaboration Engineer reporting to the Infrastructure Management (IM) Division.
Responsibilities include:
-Work with messaging and collaboration systems as they relate to all versions of Office 365, Microsoft Teams, MS SharePoint services, MS PowerApps, MS PowerBi, Xmedius fax solutions, Office 365 E-Discovery, MS Defender for emails, MS DLP and AIP for Office 365 Workloads and all their components, Identity Management such as in Azure AD, including Windows servers, Active Directory and Employee provisioning tools - Active Role Server, managing mobile devices with an enterprise Mobile Device Management Tool.
-Serve as subject matter expert for the applications mentioned above, but not limited to building out systems; perform upgrades and migrations of current systems to newer platforms;
-Support disaster recovery activities through maintenance and testing, including coordination of disaster recover test; assist with design and manage disaster recovery plans as it relates to messaging infrastructure components; including all technical tasks such as requirements gathering, infrastructure architecture, messaging infrastructure design, pre-installation preparation, product installation and configuration;
-Configure infrastructure and messaging technologies and help agencies with architectural reviews and network planning and design sessions, to ensure systems will work properly; advocate and practice enterprise architecture best practices related to messaging and collaborative systems;
-Partner with architecture teams required to ensure alignment of all related architecture processes, standards, strategies, and roadmaps;
-Document solution architectures and support information;
-Work with all the agencies which OTI manages in a professional manner and help them to resolve issues related to their managed mobile devices and collaboration services in a time sensitive manner.
-Perform special projects and initiatives assigned.
HOURS/SHIFT
Day - Due to the necessary technical duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 24 credits in the field of voice and/or data telecommunications or in a pertinent scientific, technical, electronic or related area, and four years of satisfactory fulltime experience in the performance of analytical, planning, operational, technical, or administrative duties in a voice and/or data telecommunications or closely related electronics planning, management, and/or service organization, one year of which must have been in a highly specialized capacity and 18 months must have been in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity or in the supervision of staff performing work in the voice and/or data telecommunications field; or
2. An associate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 12 credits in the field of voice and/or data telecommunications or in a pertinent, scientific, technical, electronic or related area and five years of experience as described in "1" above; or
3. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" above. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and one year of the specialized experience as described in "1" above and must possess the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory experience as described in "1" above.
