A rapidly growing digital health and neurotechnology company is hiring a full-time Forward Deployed Engineer in Boston, MA. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, customer solutions, and analytics, helping deploy and extend a cloud-native brain data platform used to accelerate clinical research and precision medicine. You'll work with modern data technologies including SQL, Python, APIs, Snowflake, and BI platforms to build integrations, analytical solutions, and customer-facing tools that unlock insights from one of the world's largest EEG datasets.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys blending technical problem-solving with customer interaction. You'll partner directly with external engineering teams, researchers, and healthcare organizations to design integrations, build proof-of-concepts, and shape how customers leverage the platform. 

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of experience developing data platform or data engineering solutions
· 3+ years in a customer-facing engineering or technical consulting role
· Strong SQL skills with experience designing analytical and operational data models
· Proficiency in Python, Julia, R, or another data-focused programming language
· Experience designing and supporting REST, GraphQL, or similar APIs
· Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data integration patterns
· Experience working with analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Looker, Superset, or similar tools
· Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and delivering customer-facing technical implementations
