Senior Pastor - Faith Baptist Church

Introduction
Faith Baptist Church, a beacon of hope and faith in the community, presents its comprehensive Church Profile. The Senior Pastor Selection Committee compiled this document in the early to mid-year of 2024. The committee and the deacons will use this document as a framework to help evaluate and communicate our church needs now and guide us through the selection process.
This document provides a detailed overview of our church, encompassing its current state, the surrounding community, our vision for the future, the ideal profile of a new pastor, and a rich historical account. As we embark on a new chapter in our church's journey, this profile is a valuable tool for understanding our identity, aspirations, and needs.
Faith Baptist Church is a church of approximately 200 members in the Western Highlands of Virginia. Our church is very mission-oriented and supports twenty-three missionaries across the globe and in our own backyard. As a church, we give 23% to further the gospel via our missions. These missions range from helping with local needs and Christian education in schools to ministries across the globe. Faith Baptist Church was founded in 1975 and had the same founding pastor until a few years ago. We are set in a tight-knit and hard-working community surrounded by natural beauty and many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. We are excited about recent developments in our community that speak to a bright future for the area.
