Overview

Title: Full Time Chaplain

Location: Sarasota, FL

USD 55,000.00 - USD 57,000.00 Annually [Employer Est.]

The Fast Track Chaplain serves as both a pastoral caregiver and a ministry growth catalyst within Corporate Chaplains of America (CCA). This individual provides Christ-centered chaplain care to assigned employees and companies while actively supporting the expansion of CCA's ministry footprint by cultivating new relationships with prospective client companies.

This dual-focus role advances CCA's mission to reach more workplaces for Christ by combining high-quality pastoral care with intentional outreach and relationship development.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Chaplaincy Care (Approximately 50%)

  • Develop caring, confidential relationships with assigned employees, owners, and their families through consistent on-site presence.
  • Provide spiritual counsel, emotional support, and crisis intervention grounded in Biblical truth.
  • Maintain a ministry of presence in diverse workplace environments, representing CCA's mission and values with excellence.
  • Maintain accurate care records and ensure strict adherence to CCA's confidentiality policy and chaplain manual.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies within assigned companies.
  • Support team unity by displaying and promoting a collaborative, ministry-minded attitude.

2. Growth & Field Development (Approximately 50%)

  • Partner with the Regional Director and Field Development leadership to identify and engage prospective client companies.
  • Participate in outreach efforts, including networking, local events, and community engagement, to communicate CCA's mission and value.
  • Conduct introductions and coordinate follow-up meetings with business owners, executives, and HR leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Team to share lead information, coordinate prayer groups, and support the closing process.
  • Build and maintain a growing network of business and ministry contacts aligned with CCA's mission.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of pastoral or chaplaincy experience.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to engage confidently with organizational leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree required; seminary or chaplain certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel regionally with a flexible schedule and valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in computer and mobile technology for documentation and communication.

Certificates and Licenses

  • Denominational ordination or ministry commissioning.
  • Valid state driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
