Requirements and Experience:
  • Comply with all safety guidelines.
  • Understand system
  • Know types of materials used on a daily basis.
  • Operate basic hand tools properly.
  • Install hangers, equipment, copper, PVC and cast
  • Set drains, carriers and
  • Assembly, install, and repair fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. Lay out, fabricate, assembly, install, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial processing systems.
  • Learn and follow along with building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and assist in planning sequence of installations to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction
  • Identify and utilize marked positions of plumbing connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using ruler, spirit level, and plumb bob.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Know the types and sizes of pipe and related materials according to direct reports requests.
  • Cut pipe, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, cutting torch, or pipe cutting
  • Thread pipe, using threading machine or by
  • Assembly and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass, and bronze, and nonmetals, such as glass, vitrified clay and plastic, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Test piping systems for leaks by use of appropriate
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, water closets, water heaters, hot water tanks, and water filtration systems.
  • Secure pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand
  • May assist in the install of refrigeration and air-conditioning piping systems including valves, sight glasses and associated equipment
  • Able to travel to various plumbing supply outlets as requested by the Service Manager.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in plumbing industry
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service related experience
  • Must be able to climb and balance on ladders, stand/ or sit for long periods at a time, must not have a fear of heights, among others

Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Licenses/Certifications
  • Valid Florida Driver's License is required
  • Incumbent must be insurable at all times by CES insurance carrier
  • Florida State Journeyman license preferred but not required
