In this full-time role, you'll be the first point of contact for our members-providing exceptional service, answering questions, and ensuring every interaction leaves them feeling supported and valued. We are especially seeking multilingual candidates who can help us serve our wonderfully diverse community.
What You'll Do:
Member Support:
  • Respond to phone, email, and chat inquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Process membership and program updates, including billing adjustments and renewals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member issues quickly, collaborating with local Y teams as needed.

Engagement & Retention:
  • Share information about YMCA programs, events, and services to keep members engaged.
  • Address concerns with empathy, escalating complex situations when necessary.
  • Help foster strong relationships that encourage member satisfaction and long-term retention.

Team Collaboration:
  • Partner with local YMCA branches and regional sales teams to ensure seamless support.
  • Contribute to retention and sales goals through excellent service.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of member support experience, ideally in a membership or subscription-based environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Bi-Lingual and Multi-Lingual candidates preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
