Assistant Blending Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties

  • Hook up production lines in the pit to correct tank per the work order
  • Fill out all paperwork completely and accurately
  • Report any spills or leaks that could cause a potential accident or effect the environment
  • Load/Unload bulk shipments via railcar and truck
  • Gauge tanks
  • Direct daily operations when supervisor is absent
  • Troubleshoot minor issues including but not limited to pumps, in-line blender, and pneumatic lines.
  • Analyze schedule and determine time availability to refill storage tanks.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Drive projects to completion and solve problems when necessary
  • Blend product on Inline Blender via industrial workstation
  • Other duties as assigned

Assistant Blending Supervisor Qualifications

  • High School diploma or (GED)
  • Ability to multi-task under limited supervision
  • At least 2 years of experience in compounding/blending manufacturing environment
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Forklift certification
  • Yard Driver experience a plus
  • Requires attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and strong problem- solving ability
  • Experience operating pumps and valves
  • Ability to read and legibly write English
  • Must be able to read and interpret standard gauges and instruments
  • Ability to work with others
