Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' symptoms, focusing on the intensity and duration of mood disorder manifestations.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients’ goals, preferences, and specific challenges, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Engage clients and their families in educational discussions regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Monitor client progress consistently, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for all clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and treatment strategies related to mood disorders.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and adheres to legal and ethical standards, protecting client confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients grappling with various mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications
  • Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
