Job description

Role Overview:
Join the in-business portfolio management team within the Credit Financing business. This role is designed for a professional with a strategic mindset towards data. You will be a central stakeholder in the portfolio's data lifecycle, responsible for supporting data integrity, data strategy, and execution of data-centric projects.
Work Profile Specifics:
The role will support the strategy, maintenance, execution, governance of data across the portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
  • Portfolio Data Strategy & Integrity: Act as the primary steward across data supporting the portfolio. Design and implement strategies for data modeling, storage, and hygiene across our suite of applications
  • Data Maintenance and Quality: Spearhead the assimilation of complex financial data (e.g., Borrowing Bases) into internal systems. Develop, support and manage processes for seamless data ingestion, validation, and reporting
  • Client & Stakeholder Data Engagement: Proactively interface with clients, originations, and underwriting teams to resolve data quality issues, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information from its source
  • Risk Management through Data: Leverage portfolio data to proactively assist in managing Credit Risk. Support broader portfolio management team in monitoring key credit quality indicators and initiate remediation actions based on data-driven insights
  • Automate & Optimize Reporting: Support automation of portfolio management reporting, including borrowing base monitoring, valuation, and covenant checks. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance control frameworks and improve operational efficiency through technology
  • Strategic Technology Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional technology partners to design, develop, and execute strategic initiatives that enhance data infrastructure and support long-term business objectives

Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in a related role
  • Knowledge of Credit Financing and Securitizations is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in data scalability and integration, including ingestion, validation, and reporting workflows
  • Aptitude in data management, with ability to track, action, and drive process as applicable
  • Awareness of regulatory frameworks, including but not limited to; Basel Capital Calculations and reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with technology-driven process improvements, task automation, and control optimization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving efficiency and accuracy
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as demonstrable ability to comprehend legal documentation (including loan facility agreements)
