Job Title:
VP, Equities Structuring
Location:

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join our Equities Structuring team within the Global Banking & Markets division. This individual will play a key role in designing and executing complex credit risk and bespoke financing transactions across a broad client base, including pension funds, hedge funds, asset managers, credit funds, and banks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Structure and execute complex credit risk and client financing transactions tailored to investor and institutional needs
  • Lead the development and execution of funding optimization and capital-efficient solutions
  • Support the buildout of credit risk solutions within the Equities division
  • Engage in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment to support transaction development
  • Lead trade negotiation and manage legal documentation processes in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner closely with trading, sales, legal, risk, and treasury teams to structure innovative and executable solutions

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in credit risk structuring, equity financing, or capital solutions
  • Deep understanding of bank regulatory capital and liquidity frameworks (Basel, LCR/NSFR)
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards as they relate to structured transactions
  • Strong product knowledge of credit risk mitigation tools (e.g., TRS, CDS, guarantees)
  • Solid understanding of equities markets and funding markets
  • Strong familiarity with derivative instruments and structures

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex structuring and negotiation processes independently
  • Proven project management and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients and senior stakeholders

  • This is a senior-level, in-office role based in New York City
  • Minimal travel expected

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
