Idle Hour Country Club is seeking an experienced full time bartender. If you are passionate about hospitality and want to be part of a great team with amazing potential for growth, this is your perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level! Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY.
Candidates should have 2-4 years of restaurant experience; fine dining experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Break down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly. Accept drink orders from guests/servers in proper calling order.
• Make cocktails in accordance Beverage Standards using standard jigger. Work professionally with all guests and fellow associates.
• Prepare beverage requisition for liquor.
• Create a pleasant, friendly, hospitable, effective and professional working atmosphere at all times.
• Inform all guests of Food and Beverage and bar promotional activities.
• To maintain a flexible work schedule in accordance with the business demands of the Club. Complete all opening and closing duties as listed on the checklist.
• Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management, which the associate is capable of performing.
• Report to work on time and in full uniform.
• Check and replace glassware where needed. Stock and replenish ice at all ice stations.
Qualifications:
• A passion for food, wine and service is a must.
• A strong sense of urgency.
• Superior communication skills.
• Knowledge of tableside etiquette.
• A focus on hospitality and guest rapport alongside development of a regular clientele.
• A rigorous attention to detail.
