Job description

Bar Nettare is seeking a part-time or full-time barista/AM server. Nettare’s mission is to celebrate the best of the Midwest and Great Lakes region in an approachable, neighborhood setting. Our newly expanded café extends this ethos, bringing the same commitment to craft and hospitality to the city’s coffee culture. The right candidate will feel passionate about upholding these values while providing warm, inviting service to our community. Some serving & barista experience is preferred. Must be available in the early morning hours & on weekends.


 

General Responsibilities:

  • Serving during our brunch service

  • Bussing tables & running food

  • Making craft coffee drinks 

  • Maintaining a clean workspace

  • Completing opening duties effectively

  • Welcoming guests & taking orders on a Toast POS 

  • Restocking paper goods

Requirements:

  • Effective, honest communication

  • Creativity — our seasonal menus will reflect what is available from local farms, & we are always open to fun ideas

  • Adaptability — sometimes you will be working as a barista, sometimes you will be working in the restaurant
