Job description

At Reading Cooperative Bank, we are more than a financial institution—we are a mutual cooperative bank dedicated to strengthening Main Street and supporting the communities we proudly serve. Rooted in a tradition of trust, collaboration, and local impact, we work every day to empower individuals, families, and small businesses to thrive. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference and building relationships that matter, we invite you to explore a career with us.
We are currently seeking a full-time Banking Specialist to join our Andover Branch team.
Who We Want:
  • Are you looking to expand your retail banking knowledge and advance your career?
  • Do you love developing strong relationships with customers and helping them find the best financial solutions and services to meet their needs?
  • Do you want to work for an organization that has a strong commitment to the local communities it serves?

What You Need:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • High school diploma with college degree preferred

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver a satisfying customer experience by fulfilling service requests and providing efficient and accurate transaction processing
  • Present features and benefits of products and services to customers with differing needs
  • Open new deposit accounts and verify process changes to existing accounts using knowledge of sales, products, benefits, account ownership forms and RCB procedures
This position offers a 37.5-hour work schedule, designed to be fulfilled within the branch's defined operating hours.
  • Monday 8:30 - 4:30
  • Tuesday 8:30 - 4:30
  • Wednesday 8:30 - 4:30
  • Thursday 8:30 - 4:30
  • Friday 8:30 - 4:30
  • Saturday 9:00 - 12:00

We offer all the benefits you’d expect: a choice of 4 medical plans to suit your individual needs, dental insurance, a vision care plan, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, and a 401k. But we also offer an Employee Assistance Program, generous time off, an emergency loan program (up to $1,000 with no interest and no questions asked), and tuition assistance (even for part-timers).

Reading Cooperative Bank provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.

The pay range indicated is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, and performance. This range may be modified in the future.
