Job description

Video Collaboration Team Technical Support

The Video Collaboration team supports digital hybrid work throughout the enterprise using the Microsoft TeamsTM video platform. We have invested heavily in our deployment of video collaboration rooms and devices ranging from BYOD to fully integrated executive boardrooms. To maintain a positive hybrid work experience, a dedicated on-site technical support team is required for best-in-class customer service. This position can be summarized into four key areas: systems preventative maintenance and support, incident hygiene with the team, technical data reporting, and events support. This position is located at our US Headquarters in Seattle, WA.

As a Tier 3, you will be a subject matter expert for the technical support of our conference spaces. You will also be an escalation point and leader for the tier 2 technicians on the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily testing and monitoring of conference spaces, focused on high visibility rooms
  • Provide escalation support and path to resolution for open incidents
  • Administer scheduled preventative maintenance, replace failed or out of date components
  • Provide technical support of planned events as needed
  • Mentor and lead junior team members in incident management and resolution
  • Deploy planned conference systems
  • Open and manage manufacturer RMAs as well as R&R for damaged equipment
  • Maintain inventory of spares, track maintenance in ticketing system, and submit for needed supplies
  • Continuous education pertinent to the conferencing technologies deployed throughout

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in AV Technology industry Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing equipment, and interpreting system drawings
  • Experience in supporting live AV events with high profile persons
  • Current proficiency with commercial audio visual, video conferencing, and broadcast manufacturers
