Job description

Overview:

Salary Details: $27.50/hr

Job Status: Full-time, Union

Position level: Mid-level

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

As a Technical Service Technician, you'll repair and maintain the audio/video systems for Cedar Point. Additional responsibilities include installation, maintenance and repair of digital and analog audio systems, video, projection, data displays and wired/wireless public address sound equipment and RF communication equipment. Daily audio/video setup and tear-down for special events.

  • Ensure tasks are completed within a timely manner.
  • Perform repairs on two-way radios.
  • Set-up and strike for unique events.
  • Repair electronics down to the component level.
  • Design and maintain automated A/V control systems.

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Must join Laborers Union.
  • Must provide own hand tools.
  • Able to work at heights, including from catwalks, aerial lifts, crane baskets, scaffolding, and structure climb.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in electronic and Audio/Visual equipment.
  • Willing to work various shifts and days with the ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
