Description
The Audio/Lighting Production Technician will prepare audio and lighting for weekly worship services and events. This role will carry Front of House (FOH) mix and/or Lighting Operator responsibility for one venue each weekend. Responsibilities include setup, maintenance, and programming of production systems, as well as supporting various production projects as directed. This is a full-time position with the benefit of a 4-day work week and reports to the Associate Production Director.
Responsibilities:
  • Review Planning Center weekly to prepare and execute production of services according to their needs.
  • Assist the Audio Director or work independently to prepare and patch stages for services and events.
  • Mix Front of House (FOH) or operate Lighting for weekly worship services and serve in other production roles as needed.
  • Support lighting setup, programming, and execution as needed for services and events.
  • Perform production responsibilities for special events such as concerts, funerals, weddings, and other gatherings as needed with rotating 'on call' schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning work environment, including regular care of consoles, microphones, cabling, lights, and other equipment.
  • Support stage design transitions, setup, and ongoing improvements.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment across CCC facilities.
  • Participate fully as a member of CCC staff, including all-staff gatherings and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • A dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • College/technical degree or equivalent professional experience in audio production.
  • Strong problem-solving ability in live and post-production environments.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, follow-through, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Desire to learn and stay current with audio and lighting production best practices.
  • Proficiency with live production audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha QL/CL/PM series), including patching and programming.
  • Proficiency with live production lighting consoles (e.g., GrandMA), including patching and programming, as well as general DMX networking.
  • Strong musical sense and mixing ability.
  • Familiarity with theater, production, or church environments and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with Vectorworks not required, but preferred.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
