CTL Engineering is hiring for a Project Coordinator | Administrator!

 

CTL Engineering (www.ctleng.com) is an award winning, full service consulting engineering firm with (15) locations across OH, IN, WV, KY, NC, SC, and VA with a rich history over our (99) years in business. We provide civil/site design and land surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction administration & inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting & installation, transportation design (bridge/roadway), and specialized testing services to the construction industry.

 Highlights:

  • The Project Coordinator | Construction/Engineering services will perform Clerical, Billing, and Administrative duties on a specific project to provide support to the on-site personnel performing construction/inspection work.
  • The initial assignment will be a multi-year construction project in the climate-controlled project trailer. 
  • The ideal candidate will have:
    • A self-starter mentality/ability to motivate oneself and work without direct supervision.
    • Extensive time management and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail orientated, team player, and organized.
    • Ability to work independently and in diverse dynamic teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Performs Administrative duties onsite to support personnel performing construction/inspection work on the assigned/specific project. 
  • Coordinates procedures and ensure existing administrative systems and processes to make the team/branch/dept. more efficient.
  • Frequent interaction with all types and levels of personnel, including: client leaders, contractor & subcontractors, field personnel, etc. 
  • Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to the organization and communication on the project.
  • Performs multiple Clerical duties as well as billing and administration support/duties.
  • Maintains professionalism and positive attitude in supporting team members/projects in a timely manner to meet team goals.
  • Organizes information using Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, etc.) for use in reporting or analysis.
  • Organizes, schedules meetings and appointments and/or creates calendars for the team when needed.
  • Conducts reporting/analysis of data when requested/necessary for the department/project needs.
  • May be required to make calls, send emails, or communicate with clients to help solve upcoming issues in a professional/timely manner.
  • Other duties/tasks assigned by the team leadership to help ensure the project runs smoothly.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of office management and administrative policies, procedures, and processes (related to construction/engineering field).
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and skills of Microsoft office products including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to build relationships and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong skill in balancing more than one task at a time.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least (5) years of Administration or office services management experience is strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years of construction or engineering administration or office services management experience preferred.
  • Functional capability using Microsoft systems; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Must be mature, reliable, and self-motivated.

Education: 

  • High school or equivalent - no college required.
    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
