Position Description:

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing components and firearms according to company specification and quality standards. This role requires dexterity, precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and production procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, and visually inspect firearms and items to a standard
  • Print, apply, and scan labels
  • Package completed products
  • Record and interpret DATA and follow detailed instructions
  • Communicate with the production manager and other team members
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Comply with all safety and compliance regulations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and one year of work experience
  • Eyesight and manual dexterity sufficient to identify and maintain finish quality of components.
  • Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, specifically Windows PCs.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning software is a plus.
  • Familiar with Kaizen or Lean philosophy, 5S pillars:
  • Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Technical training or vocational training are a plus
