SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Be an internal SME for assigned categories such as Knits and Wovens (Fabrics, Garments, Sourcing, and Product Knowledge).
  • Owned, private label, and licensed brand product development.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with merchandising, planning, design, and technical design to achieve best product results from all angles of the business.
  • Recommend new ideas and methods for construction and execution.
  • Anticipate and proactively tackle potential raw material, margin, sourcing, and execution issues.
  • Assist negotiations, product development, adoption, sourcing, vendor allocation and production processes across multiple market and product development vendors.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product development in the apparel industry.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes, textile sourcing, and product development.
  • Familiarity with product development software such as Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems.
