Jacksons Restaurant + Bar located adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Area Beaver Valley in Monaca is looking for an experienced full-time Bartender to join their team. The Bartender is responsible for creating handcrafted beverages while demonstrating genuine hospitality and delivery of exceptional guest service in the bar area.
Bartender responsibilities include:
Mixing and Serving Drinks:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking drink orders, and engaging in friendly interactions.
- Address customer inquiries and make recommendations based on preferences.
Order Processing:
- Process drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing point-of-sale (POS) systems to record transactions.
- Handle cash transactions and provide change as needed
Stocking and Replenishing:
- Monitor beverage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure that the bar is well-stocked with ingredients, garnishes, and other necessary items.
Creating Specials:
- Develop and recommend signature cocktails or drink specials to enhance the menu and attract customers.
Knowledge of Beverages:
- Stay informed about different types of beverages, including wines, beers, and spirits.
- Provide information and recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
Compliance with Regulations:
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Follow responsible beverage service guidelines.
