Key Responsibilities

  • Access Control & Monitoring
    • Control entry and exit points at assigned properties.
    • Monitor and verify individuals, vehicles, and activities around secured areas.
    • Enforce site-specific access policies and procedures.
  • Patrol & Deterrence
    • Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of garages, stairwells, elevators, and outdoor areas.
    • Maintain a visible security presence to deter unwanted activity.
    • Report hazards, maintenance issues, and safety concerns.
  • Incident Response & Reporting
    • Respond promptly to calls for service, alarms, and emergencies.
    • Document incidents, maintain daily activity logs, and submit written reports.
    • De-escalate situations when possible, escalating to law enforcement as needed.
  • Emergency & Safety Support
    • Contact police, fire, EMS, or other first responders when necessary.
    • Provide immediate support in medical or safety emergencies.
    • Assist with disaster response, evacuations, and continuity of operations.
  • Customer Service & Assistance
    • Provide directions, escorts, and general assistance to staff and visitors.
    • Support traffic flow and assist patrons at payment stations or access points.
    • Engage with the public courteously, representing the brand with professionalism.
  • Compliance & Accountability
    • Clock in and out using GPS-enabled systems; maintain post coverage until properly relieved.
    • Follow all site-specific post orders, safety protocols, and supervisor instructions.
    • Maintain complete compliance with all licensing, firearms, and equipment requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Must hold a valid Florida Class G Security License (required prior to employment).
  • Must own a smartphone for clocking in, reporting, and communication.

  • Must have the physical endurance to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

Preferred but Not Required: Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus.
