    Primary Responsibilities

    The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and decision support to business leaders across the organization. This role combines strong analytical skills with business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights in a fast-paced, distribution-focused environment. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values.


    Essential Functions
    • Supports assigned functional areas with the monthly forecast, annual plan, and 3 year strategic financial plan.
    • Prepares monthly financial reports comparing actual results with plan and forecast for assigned functional areas.
    • Analyzes results and identifies trends to provide data-driven insights to leadership.
    • Prepares monthly presentations for business leaders and attends monthly business review meetings.
    • Provides financial reporting support to the organization.
    • Identifies and escalate reporting inefficiencies.
    • Assists in the development and management of dashboards and score cards to support leadership in monitoring performance of critical processes, plans and forecasts.
    • Prepares Ad hoc requests to support management queries in a fast-paced environment.
    • Cross trains as back-ups for other staff.
    • Develops and maintains technical knowledge by attending trainings/workshops.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

     

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced level expertise in MS Excel.
    • Effective communication skills written and verbal.
    • Knowledge of Workday/Adaptive Planning, SQL, or other relational database and BI products strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI proficiency.
    • Familiarity with agentic AI tools and natural-language data query platforms.
    • Ability to succeed in a team environment, learn quickly, and be a strong analytical thinking and problem solver.
    • Self-starter and ability to self-manage workload and multiple tasks at once.

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
    • Minimum 0-2 years of experience in finance, financial planning, or related field.
