RSQ Fire Protection is an industry leader that has been providing quality fire protection services for nearly 15 years.   We excel at providing fire protection services ranging from large contract projects to small service repairs.

We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Fire Sprinkler Designer.    Is that you?   If so, we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities

As Fire Sprinkler Designer, your key responsibility will be to serve as a vital team member associated with providing fire protection drawings, hydraulic calculations, and stock lists resulting in perfect project execution.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare accurate and detailed drawings with current software in accordance with applicable fire protection codes and company standards.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM modeling skills
  • Perform material takeoffs and prepare stock lists for applicable project components.
  • Coordinate with other trades through meetings and computer software to ensure efficient and cost-effective system installations.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with RSQ personnel, vendors, and clients.

What it takes

  • 3-5 years of Fire Protection design experience.
  • Nicet Level III preferred but not required.
  • Some college preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with Revit.  Auto CAD and BIM modeling experience a plus.
