Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference this school year by supporting students with communication needs in a thriving, resource-rich educational environment. Three full-time opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) committed to excellence, compassion, and ongoing learning. Whether your expertise is with medically fragile students, elementary school populations, or serving both in-person and virtual learners, you’ll find an assignment tailored to your interests and skills.

Assignments include:

  • Washington Center: Provide essential SLP services to students ages 3–21 in a self-contained setting, working closely with another dedicated SLP. Strong AAC knowledge and a heartfelt approach for medically fragile and profoundly impaired students are valued.
  • Chandler Creek & Crestview Elementary: Work across two welcoming elementary campuses in Greer, SC, each with another full-time SLP on site. Engage with young learners, collaborate, and share resources.
  • Welcome Elementary & Others: Support a diverse caseload, including students at Welcome Elementary, Greenville’s virtual academy, and an additional site to be confirmed. Collaborate with professionals at multiple points of support.

Candidates should hold a current SC SLP License, SC Educator Certification, and ideally, have previous school-based experience. Applicants with CCCs are highly desired; CFs may also be considered. Knowledge or experience with AAC devices is an asset for some roles.

You’ll benefit from:

  • A robust network of SLP mentors and colleagues
  • Hands-on system training and provided materials
  • A multi-level support structure for clinical and professional growth
  • The collegial, uplifting spirit of a district that values its specialists

These roles offer full-time hours with the academic calendar, ensuring meaningful work-life balance.

Ready to take the next step? Submit your interest today and specify which assignment speaks to your passion—you could play a pivotal role in a student’s educational journey this year!
