Location: Southern California (Supporting multiple Ambulatory Surgery Centers located in San Diego, Pasadena, and Rancho Cucamonga)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel: Regular travel between ASC locations required.


Position Summary

Synovation Medical Group is seeking an experienced ASC Credentialing & Accreditation Manager to oversee provider credentialing, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness across our Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Southern California. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with CMS, California Department of Public Health, AAAHC, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards while supporting high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage provider credentialing, recredentialing, privileging, and medical staff files.
  • Conduct primary source verification and monitor license, DEA, insurance, and certification renewals.
  • Coordinate accreditation surveys and maintain continuous survey readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission, and California regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct audits, track corrective action plans, and support quality improvement initiatives (QAPI).
  • Collaborate with Medical Directors, Administrators, Directors of Nursing, and Operations Leadership across multiple ASC locations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of credentialing, accreditation, or regulatory compliance experience.
  • 3+ years working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing, medical staff services, CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission, and California regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.


Travel Requirements

Regular travel (approximately 30–50%) between our Ambulatory Surgery Centers in San Diego, Pasadena, and Rancho Cucamonga. Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required.
