Job Summary:
DirectViz Solutions (DVS) is a dynamic and rapidly growing government contractor committed to delivering innovative IT solutions that address the mission-critical needs of our government clients. They are actively seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to help modernize legacy ASP.NET WebForms applications, focusing on analyzing existing projects, planning migration strategies, and implementing scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Full stack web development for Publication Tracking Software (PTS) a suite of products including websites PTS, Pubs Online, and MEO Online.
• Database management
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity; with a focus on ensuring software quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Basic knowledge of software, database and web application testing methodologies and best practices for manual testing, automated testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing.
• Developing, testing, and documenting software and user manuals
• PTS customer support (telephone and email)
Qualifications:
Required:
• One to two years of experience in .net and C# development. Professional experience. C#, .NET, ASP, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SQL
• Familiarity with build tools, such as Visual Studio and code management tools such as Git.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priority and changes in priorities in an everchanging environment.
• Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
• Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
• Learns and memories routine tasks.
Preferred:
• Azure DevOps experience.
• Entity Framework, .NET Core, MVC, XML
• Telerik Web UI, Telerik Reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision
