Reports to: LEM Lab Manager
FLSA: Non-exempt
Hours Worked:Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Position Summary:
The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for work on an application's front-end and back-end development. A full-stack engineer is a high-level software engineer who works to design, test, and implement various software applications. They create software, applications, and scalable web services, while also providing leadership for coding teams. Full-stack engineers usually possess prodigious skills and are involved in each stage of software development. This can include data structure completion, architecture design, code review, performance evaluation, internal tool management, and updates.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently develop software modules with minimal supervision
  • Write clean, efficient code following established coding standards
  • Conduct thorough code testing and performance optimization
  • Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
  • Collaborate with team members on software development projects
  • Document technical specifications and code changes
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues
  • Support documentation and technical reporting
  • Participate in knowledge sharing within the engineering team
  • Design, code, test, and manage applications that integrate automation/Al functionalities, ensuring they operate seamlessly across all platforms.
  • Use a range of technologies including JavaScript frameworks, server-side languages, and databases.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of all systems.
  • Employ best practices in continuous integration and deployment (Cl/CD), using automated testing to ensure the application's reliability and performance at all stages of development.
  • Work with designers, developers, and product managers to create a cohesive and integrated user experience.
  • Bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role in both defining how the application looks and how it works.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines in Al usage and data handling, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security.
  • Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Comply with clients and Company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
  • Follows the guidelines set forth by clients and the Company Quality Manual and Safety
  • Adhere to the requirements of the Company Quality System and data management policies.

  • Configure and use monitoring/trending systems (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Experience with Collaborative Software Development and Version Control using GitHub.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with front and back-end development, integrating Al functionalities across platforms.

Preferences:
  • Experience in Power Apps development (canvas apps, model-driven apps, Power Fx, Dataverse data modeling and security roles)
  • Experience related to Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Pages, custom connectors, PCF components, Azure services (Functions/Logic Apps), AI Builder/Copilot Studio.

Compensation Range: $33.00-$36.00 per hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset).
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
