Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is searching for a Full Stack Engineer (Cloud + AI Exposure) in Mesa, AZ.
Overview:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a high-impact product engineering team focused on building modern, scalable web and mobile applications. This role will contribute to the design and development of cloud-based platforms and next-generation digital solutions, including early-stage AI-enabled features.
You will work in a collaborative, product-driven environment supporting multiple initiatives, with the opportunity to influence architecture, contribute to innovation efforts, and help shape the future of connected software experiences.
Key Tasks:
* Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (backend + frontend)
* Build and enhance cloud-native applications deployed in AWS and/or Azure environments
* Contribute to modern web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies
* Collaborate across product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver new features
* Support development of mobile applications (Android/Kotlin experience preferred)
* Develop and maintain APIs and integrations across distributed systems
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
* Assist in exploring and integrating AI/ML-driven features into applications
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across applications
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in full stack software development
* Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
* Strong backend experience with Node.js, Java, or C#
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure exposure a plus)
* Experience building API-driven, service-based architectures
* Familiarity with NoSQL or distributed databases
* Experience working within Agile environments
* Strong communication and ability to collaborate across teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
