**This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.**
THE OPPORTUNITY
PassTime, a leader in asset tracking and technology solutions with over 30 years in business and experiencing significant business growth is looking for a talented Full Stack Software Developer. The successful candidate will be part of a team that develops solutions for external/internal web services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of these skills further demonstrated with examples of past work. Candidates should be self-described as driven, confident, analytical, and assertive. This position can be demanding with frequent deadline-oriented tasks that may require some evening and weekend work to perform software upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure minimal impact on regular business hours of operation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Utilizing best practices for web application development and design patterns to include developing, integrating, and delivering applications using front-end, back-end, database, and hosting tools
  • Working and interacting with other software developers and teams in both remote work and close-knit office working conditions
  • Delivering software solutions to resolve requests and requirements from the business using functional specifications
  • Utilizing all layers of the stack to complete coding, database integrations, and deployment activities to include detailed test plans
  • Employing strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks especially in Angular and React
  • Identifying, collecting, processing, and organizing substantial amounts of information and data, which may be limited or incomplete
  • Application of best practices for troubleshooting and problem solving to expedite bug and breakfix conditions
  • Writing documentation to memorialize changes to code, processes and other updates made by your direct development work or others

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION
General Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or coding related field
  • Training and certifications will be considered
  • Demonstrated 6+ years of progressive experience as a full stack software developer
  • A fundamental knowledge and ability to understand technology, information systems, data, and business processes
  • Strong quantitative ability and aptitude for quantitative learning
  • Strong analytical and business writing skills
  • Familiar with modern AI-based coding assistants like Anthropic Claude Code and its appropriate use in modern software development
  • Excellent at troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Ability to work both individually with minimal guidance and within a team
  • Ability to present findings and technical proposals to internal and external customers
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work after normal business hours and on weekends as needed
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Technical Requirements:
  • Experience with API integration and cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Advanced experience using various versions of Visual Studio (2010-2022)
  • Advanced experience in developing and supporting web applications and web services
  • Experience with MS SQL Server (2016/2019/2022), stored procedures development and database design
  • Experience with TFS 2018/2019, DevOps 2021, Git and GitLab for code repository and version control
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL ETL tools preferred (SSRS, SSIS)
  • Advanced experience using C#, ASP.NET 4.0/4.5/4.6, JavaScript and .net framework (versions 4.5+) preferred
  • Advanced experience developing applications using JavaScript frameworks especially in Angular and React
  • Advanced experience with WebAPI and REST services preferred
  • Experience with AJAX, WPF and WF preferred
  • Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and responsive web UI preferred
  • Advanced experience with UI/UX design, development and support

WHAT OUR ORGANIZATION IS PROVIDING
  • Expected annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and education.
