Position Summary:

Samyang America is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer (Contract) to lead the development of a Business Partners Portal that will enable distributors to submit purchase orders, track order status, receive notifications, and interact with internal business workflows. The portal will serve as a centralized platform connecting external distributors with internal functions including Sales, SCM, TQR, and SS&OP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the UI/UX Designer and the QA & Technical Documentation Analyst throughout the project lifecycle on a daily basis to ensure alignment between user experience design, technical feasibility, implementation, testing, and final delivery.

  • Design, develop, and deploy the Business Partners Portal within 3 months.

  • Build secure user authentication and role-based access control

  • Develop distributor-specific permissions and workflow routing

  • Create PO upload and document management functionality

  • Develop notification and status tracking features

  • Build and maintain cloud-hosted development and test environments

  • Support UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-launch stabilization activities

  • Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle

  • Develop server recovery and disaster recovery procedures

  • Perform server environment configuration protocol testing to ensure business continuity

  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, LATAM COE, SCM, TQR, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Korean

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience

  • Strong experience in full-stack web application development

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, etc.)

  • Experience with GitHub and source control management

  • Experience designing secure user authentication systems

  • Strong understanding of workflow automation and business process design

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

Contract Completion Requirements

The engagement will conclude only after:

  • Development is completed

  • All documentation and user manuals are delivered

  • Server environments are fully configured

  • UAT is successfully completed

  • Production deployment is completed

  • Hypercare and stabilization activities are completed

  • Knowledge transfer and final handover are accepted by Samyang America

Additional Requirements

  • Must be available to work on-site at the Brea, California office Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Must be available to support Go-Live activities and post-launch stabilization efforts when required (within the contract period)

  • Must be willing to work closely with Samyang America IT, Sales, SCM, TQR, SS&OP, and LATAM COE teams throughout the project lifecycle

Contract Terms

  • Initial contract term: 3 months

  • Contract may be extended based on project needs and business requirements

  • Work location: Samyang America, Brea, California

  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Regular on-site attendance is required throughout the project duration


Compensation: $156,000 – $181,000 annual salary (paid pro-rata for 3-month contract)
