The Marketing Channel Manager has the responsibility for contributing to Full Sail University's overall success through the management of one or more of its primary strategic digital marketing channels. This role is responsible for day-to-day oversight of digital marketing execution teams within assigned channels while owning the management and implementation processes. This includes strategic and tactical planning involving internal and external teams to ensure all timelines, budget, and results are met. This person will develop and build channel strategies through repeatable best practices, standards, and centralized capabilities, enabling Full Sail to operate in strategic, efficient, effective and cohesive ways.
***Positions are located on and worked from campus in Winter Park, Florida.***
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with marketing partners to develop and deliver strategic media plans providing concise, influential, performance-driven data overlaid with the best practice of industry-leading brands.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to educate on best practices for optimizing performance and content campaigns driven by paid engagement efforts.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting performance reports and internal communications sharing weekly and monthly stats of assigned channels. This could include management of month over month tracking against goals and KPI's.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to support organizational goals involving the acquisition, nurturing marketing, and engagement initiatives.
  • Responsible for brainstorming new growth strategies and evaluate emerging technologies to drive efficiencies and results.
  • Assist in identifying trends, consumer insights, and buying behaviors into actionable plans to build ongoing strategies.

Competencies:
  • A solid grasp on technical and business implications of ad technology, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Exceptional project management skills to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, and presentation); and a consultative communication and work style with the ability to engage at all levels
  • Above average critical-thinking and problem-solving skills as well as emotional intelligence to understand that solving business challenges with data is as much about relationships with people as it is technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education and/or Experience:
  • Must be an expert in digital media management, possessing both strategic and hands-on capabilities.
  • 4 - 6 years of performance-based online marketing/digital media experience, with extensive knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
  • Strong written and presentation skills; ability to communicate, influence and guide others in strategic decisions.
  • Highly regimented and detail oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Able to perform independently and as part of the team; be both hands-on and a high-level strategic thinker.
  • Operational and strategic experience across major online marketing channels (Email, PPC/SEO, Display, Affiliate, Remarketing, Paid Social.)
  • Must possess a proven track record in building/shaping/leading successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Business or similar.
  • Expertise in SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Search, AdWords, Paid Social Media, Display, industry certifications a plus.

Computer/Equipment Skills:
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites
  • Specialized experience in Google AdWords & Analytics
  • Specialized experience in digital ad management platforms
  • Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
