About the Role

We are expanding our Critical Care Transport (CCT) program and need experienced CCT RNs. Premier Ambulance is growing—hiring for immediate openings with competitive pay.

Premier Ambulance operates in Los Angeles & Orange Counties. All staff must meet minimum requirements:

  • California County EMS Reference No. 414: Specialty Care Transport Provider
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a critical care area (pediatric or adult) within the previous 24 months.
  • California State Registered Nurse (unrestricted licensure)
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire
  • TNCC, ATCN, PHTLS within 6 months of hire
  • Two years of experience in a critical care environment (ER, ICU) in a large tertiary care facility.
Responsibilities
  • Represent the organization by being courteous, professional, and a patient advocate in all settings.
  • Ensure continuity of services while adhering to all laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as they pertain to the CCT Program.
  • Maintain thorough familiarity with treatment protocols, response requirements, and quality assurance procedures within each assigned system.
  • Demonstrate ability to resolve unusual problems and provide direction.
  • Report any problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the CCT Manager.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the CCT Manager on pertinent issues.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Work both independently and as a team member.
  • Employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas.
